Lough
Rynn Country House is situated in the Rynn Valley; you
will be surrounded by a choice of angling waters, the most notable
of which are the picturesque Lough Rynn, Creenagh Lake, Lough MacHugh,
and Clonboniagh Lake. These are well developed and easily accessible
and have plentiful pike and recorded catches of tench up to 6 lbs
with bream averaging 3 lbs. All waters are well signposted and fishing
stands are provided. There is expert local angling advice available

all aspects of fishing in the locality and boats and bait can be easily
organised. Mohill is also within easy access to the River Shannon
and its tributaries, famous for bream, pike, roach, perch, rudd, eels
and tench as well as brown trout. |

South Leitrim is truly a waterworld, bejewelled with lakes and rivers.
The greatest river, the River Shannon, flows nearly. Home to Ireland's
major cruising base, a fisherman's paradise, the area is liberally
sprinkled with interesting visitor attractors, historic ruins and
grand houses, Lough Rynn Castle itself is situated within walking
distance of our House. It was once the home of Lord Leitrim himself.
